Hello!

I'm Maria, an award-winning multi-disciplinary design-focused Creative Director with 20+ years of experience in Branding, Advertising, Digital/Social Media, Experiential Events, Packaging, Promotional Programming, Retail/Shopper Marketing and now dabbling in UX/UI.

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and grew up between Australia, Indonesia, the US, Austria and Spain. Needless to say culture and travel is my lifeblood, and offers invaluable inspiration when coming up with inventive, insightful approaches to creative problem solving. Plus I'm a foodie whose life mission is to literally taste the world.

I've also had a stint in entrepreneurship with founding Prajaa, along with two of my friends. We wanted to showcase our culture through modern shoe designs, inspired by materials indigenous to many the islands of Indonesia. What excited us the most was the altruistic angle behind our company — hiring people that were trying to get back to society and improving their lives through a creative outlet with the creation of beautifully crafted shoes.

I've held full-time positions at global agencies managing large teams for top tier accounts, and recently have enjoyed consulting work focused on projects I'm passionate about collaborating with people I respect and admire.
