Coca-Cola launched the Share a Coke Campaign to the US and Canada. Our task, to double the number of customized cans given to consumers. Since sharing was inherent in the name, we gave each visitor the ability to customize 2 cans; one for themselves and one to share with their friend.
Beyond that, we also explored how this activation can be amplified and have nationwide reach by tapping into cultural insights with teens. Through social and digital media platforms we overlaid PR-able ideas with celebrity partners and collaboration with fashion brands. It resulted in over 1 million shares of Coke cans, generated buzz volume of nearly 700,000 and 350,000 virtual bottle shares.
